Thanksgiving Feast

Dear Parents,
We would like to prepare our own Thanksgiving dinner at school on Tuesday, November 24.
I have found that it is easier to ask for donations and do all the shopping myself so we get the proper items and amount, and so I don’t have to make a trip to Safeway at the last minute to pick up a necessary item. If you would like to donate to our feast, please have your child bring $2.00 by Friday, November 20th. If you are unable to donate that is fine, all children will participate in the festivities.

The menu for our feast is: Posse Stew, homemade bread, homemade butter, fruit salad, pumpkin pie pudding and milk. We will be eating at lunchtime so your child will not need a lunch that day but they may bring one if they do not like the menu.
The children will be making costumes to wear that day. Talk with your child, to see if they would like to be a Pilgrim or an Indian.

Also, I could use some parent volunteers for Monday and Tuesday mornings and Tuesday afternoon. If you would like to help prepare the dinner and/or clean up, please sign below.
