November 9-13

This week we will be reading a book called “Listen to the Desert”. It gives us a good chance to talk about our state and the deserts that are here.

Our spelling words will be:

It might seem that we keep repeating spelling words, but that is okay. The more they see these words the better in the long run.
Our Special Person this week will be Aura. We are excited to hear from her.
We are getting ready to send our soldier a Thanksgiving package. He would love treats!

Don’t forget that there is no school this Wednesday because of Veterans Day. Monday and Tuesday we will be learning about what a Veteran is and why we should be respectful to these great men and women. Also, don’t forget to go to the Veteran’s Day Parade on Main Street Wednesday. We will be making something special just for the parade.
