Dear Parents,
APPLES! We are studying all about apples this week. Today we talked about the seasons of an apple tree. Tomorrow we are going to talk about how our 5 senses relate to apples, and Friday we will be making applesauce. If any of you would like to send in an apple or two to contribute that would be great!
We loved hearing from Alena last week as our special person, and this week we get a double dose. Anikah and Reese are our special people. Can't wait to hear all about you two!

We took a spelling test today and I could really tell which students have studied at home. Please continue to help your child with their words each night. Also continue reading 20-30 minutes a night as homework. If you see one of our spelling words in your readings have your child read it to you. Also, have your child read simple readers each night, 5-10 minutes tops.
I am loving spending time with your children and getting to know them. They are wonderful!
