Merry Christmas!

Can you believe our school year is already half over?! It has been wonderful and I have loved every minute with your children. They are the best!!!

This week we will be studying all the great Christmas Stories, and learning other fun facts about Christmas.
Since we did so well on our spelling test last week we will not be having one this week. Good job guys!
Our special person will be Trevor. Thanks to Anthoney, he did a great job last week!

Thank you for the tremendous support for our soldier. I’m sure you all made his Christmas special.

Wednesday we will be going to the Polar Express at the High School. Kids are encouraged to wear their pj’s. There is no cost, so if you haven’t sent a permission slip yet, please just write me a note so I will know it is okay to take your child off campus. You are welcome to come and meet us there if you would like.

Friday afternoon we will have our party, I’m sure the kids will be READY by then, and then we will send them home to you for the Christmas Season.

Thanks again for all you do. You are such great parents!
Mrs. Hamblin

Oh, and by the way, here is a wish list for the new year: You children could use new
crayons, glue sticks and bottles, spiral notebooks and hand sanitizer. You can't believe how fast we go through things! Thanks!

December 7-11

Our room is really starting to look like Christmas. We have been doing lots of fun activities to get ready for the Big Day, and we will continue to do so this week. We are starting a new book this week by Dr. Seuss called “The Foot Book”. This book has a lot of rhymes which are so vital to the reading process.
We didn’t do very well on our spelling test last week so our spelling words will be the same:
Come
For
Me
Here
Are

Our special person this week will be Anthoney, we can’t wait to hear from you! We enjoyed hearing from Adriana last week.

We need to get a Christmas box off to our soldier so please send in any donations (candy, non-perishable food items and toiletry items) so we can send it off by the 11th. He would sure appreciate anything you can share.

Thanks again for all you do!
Mrs. Hambin
